Anti-Buzz contains a comprehensive list of ingredients including flavanols, amino acids, and vitamins, it is designed to assist in the metabolizing of alcohol and the metabolites associated with it. Dihydromyricetin, a flavanol that is found in plant matter, prevents alcohol from binding to GABA receptors and assists in the reduction of alcohol levels in the body. Pyroglutamic Acid is an amino acid that may assist in preventing osmotic stress to cells while also antagonizing the effects of alcohol on NMDA receptors. Succinic acid is responsible for creating ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) in the mitochondria of cells, giving cells the energy they need to perform their roles. While creating ATP, succinic acid also promotes the degradation of the toxic metabolite of alcohol, acetaldehyde. Ginger extract assists with reducing upset stomach, while also regulating the effects of alcohol. Pyridoxal 5’-phosphate is an active form of vitamin B6. Supplementing Pyridoxal 5’-phosphate helps restore the depletion that occurs with alcohol consumption.
